2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Spider

Vehicle description

2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Spider Dealer description: Model Overview The 488 Pista Spider is the 50th open top model produced by Ferrari and potentially one of their last special edition drop-tops to feature a pure combustion V8 engine. Capitalising on the successful Pista coupe, the Spider provides the driver with the addition of open air thrills, amplifying the sense of speed and invigorating the senses. The drop-top experience is further enhanced by the increased ability to hear the powerful and distinctive twin-turbo V8 soundtrack delivering a thrilling auditory experience. Arguably one of the best looking Ferrari's of recent times the 488 Pista Spider is becoming an increasingly important car sitting amongst the lightweight convertible specials such as the 16M Scuderia Spider and the 458 Speciale Aperta but it appears that this model line has come to an end. The F8 Spider which succeeded the 488 Spider did not get a lightweight special version and with Ferrari continuing to downside engines and look to hybrid powertrains for extra performance it seems that the Pista Spider may well represent the last in line. This will only help it's case as a future classic and it's no surprise to see Ferrari enthusiasts waking up to the fact that the Pista Spider is not just track-honed convertible supercar with everyday usability, it's also a highly collectible Ferrari with excellent Italian pedigree Advertised cash price £645,000.00.
